About Technical
✅What blockchain mechanism are you using?
DeFiVerse employs Optimistic rollups, a layer 2 (L2) protocol crafted to enhance the throughput of the Ethereum base layer. By processing transactions off-chain, it minimizes computation on the main Ethereum chain and significantly boosts processing speeds.
✅Is this a public Blockchain? A Private Blockchain? A Consortium Blockchain?
We utilize a private blockchain built on Optimistic rollups. Distinct from public blockchains, our private blockchain is maintained exclusively by nodes under our management. This setup facilitates quicker transactions compared to public blockchains.
✅How many nodes are there?
The nodes consist of two types: main nodes and sub-nodes. The main node is responsible for both Read and Write operations, while the sub-node handles only Read operations. If the main node goes down, the sub-node switches to perform both Read and Write operations. We plan to gradually increase the number of nodes in the future.
✅What does having DeFiVerse's gas price signify?
While Oasys (VerseLayer) typically do not charge a gas fee given its gaming specialization, DeFiVerse, with its DeFi focus, sets gas fees. This is implemented to mitigate the threats of spam attacks and to maintain optimal network performance.
✅What about a bridge?
Assets can be transferred from the Ethereum Mainnet to DeFiVerse using OasysHub. Additionally, bulk transfers from the Ethereum Mainnet to DeFiVerse can be accomplished via the bridge built into the Gaming DEX.
✅How do I deploy dApps onto DeFiVerse?
DeFiVerse operates as a permissioned blockchain. If you're interested in deploying to DeFiVerse, kindly complete this form. In the future, we have plans to transition to a permissionless chain, allowing open deployment of smart contracts by anyone.
✅Are you audited?
Indeed, our audits are conducted at WatchPug, a renowned team with experience in examining numerous high-profile DeFi products, including the likes of Gelato, Arrakis, Pendle, and more.
The audit report can be accessed [here].
✅Is there a Testnet available?
Yes, we have established our own DeFiVerse test nets. While they are independent from those provided by the OASYS Foundation, they are configured with a GAS cost.
✅Distribution Mechanism of Gas Fees (OAS) in DeFiVerse
Yes, we have established our own DeFiVerse test nets. While they are independent from those provided by the OASYS Foundation, they are configured with a GAS cost.
Node Rewards: 50% of the gas fees (OAS) generated within the DeFiVerse platform are allocated as rewards to node operators. This incentivizes the maintenance of network stability and efficiency.
dApps Voting: 30% of the OAS is utilized for the dApps Voting mechanism within DeFiVerse. This allocation supports the incentivization of decentralized applications (dApps) that are favored by the community through a voting process.
Team Rewards: The remaining 20% of the OAS is allocated to the DeFiVerse team. These funds are intended for the continuous development, maintenance, and improvement of the platform.
✅dApps Voting Model
DFV token holders in DeFiVerse have the right to vote on dApps within the platform. This voting process occurs once a month, and based on the results, the native tokens of the top three protocols are bought back using OAS. The dApps Voting model aims to identify and support outstanding projects in DeFiVerse, promoting community-led development.
